The Solution
After analysing their organisational requirements, Avant Homes decided to go the extra mile by distributing Peoplesafe’s lone worker solution to over 150 of their employees. The company discovered that Peoplesafe’s MicroGuard was the perfect fit, providing a discreet form of support at an affordable price.
By pressing the SOS button on the key fob-sized device, the user can trigger an alarm which is then received by an Alarm Controller at Peoplesafe’s Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). Being open 24 hours a day, the Alarm Controllers are on hand and trained in dealing with difficult situations.
Using the device’s two-way audio functionality, they can listen in and will then follow bespoke escalation procedures. If deemed necessary, the Alarm Controller can summon the emergency services to the user’s exact location through the device’s GPS functionality.
